Tiny Forest Tree Planting

Earlier this month, the Customer Insight and Engagement team used their green fingers to help plant over 1000 trees!

The team joined forces with Earth Watch, Newcastle City Council, community sector volunteers and residents to plant Tiny Forests in Fawdon and Westerhope. Local school children and community groups were also involved and have signed up to be guardians of the sites.

The Miyawaki Tiny Forest initiative plans to plant almost 5000 trees and shrubs across the North East. The Tiny Forest is the size of a tennis court, 200 square metres, and includes 600 trees and shrubs.

If you would like to get involved in future community initiatives, please email us here to let us know.

Have your say

If you took part in the free webinar from Four Million Homes last week we'd like to hear from you. We'd be grateful if you provided feedback for Newcastle City Council's response to the government consultation on timescales for repairs. Please complete this survey: https://forms.office.com/e/FNdKiL1Cpd

Speak up about our noise policy

Our Safe Living team are looking for customers to participate in a consultation around YHN's new Noise Policy.

If you'd like to take part, please email us here with your contact details. We'll be in touch with more information.

Just a quick thank you!

We'd like to thank everyone who took the time to give their feedback as part of the Tenant Satisfaction Measures (TSMs) survey.

The customer-wide survey closed towards the end of January. This feedback helps us to understand what we're doing well and what could be better for customers.

The results will be shared soon.
