Experienced team members work with you to develop employability skills such as CV writing and interview techniques. If you’ve been out of work for some time or are looking to change your career, a National Careers Service adviser can help. Your adviser will support you in finding employment, education and training. Their sessions will identify the skills you have, areas you can improve and work options that suit you. Together you will create an individual action plan with long term and short term goals, and the step by step actions you need to take to reach them.
National Careers Service advisers are available to provide group workshops and one to one advice and guidance sessions. The National Careers Service works with other organisations to help remove multiple obstacles, including mental health, drug and alcohol, debt, childcare and language barriers. They can help you access funding, get you into training, develop your CV and improve interview technique. The service is tailored to your needs to make sure you feel confident and fully prepared to take your next step in work, learning and life.
