Housing Plus – how to apply

If you’re interested in moving in to one of our Housing Plus – Sheltered developments you’ll need to register with Newcastle Homes first.  You can do this online by visiting their website.

We have put together a guide on how to register if you are not a member of the website already. You can also contact us if you’d like to find out more or need any help with the Tyne and Wear Homes registration process or need support bidding for properties.

Housing Plus - Assisted Living

Housing Plus – Assisted Living housing is only available to people with a specific care need that can be met by our service.  Newcastle City Council will carry out an assessment of your needs to find out if you are eligible.
