If you owe rent for a property you used to live in or are moving out of you should contact us to make an arrangement to pay off the debt. You can do this by contacting your the Debt Recovery Team on 0191 278 8757.

If you ignore your arrears you will not be eligible to join the Your Choice Homes Lettings Scheme. This is used by most Registered Social Landlords to allocate their properties. You could also be prevented from accessing properties through some Private Landlords.

If you do not make an arrangement to pay off your arrears we will contact you. We also take legal action to secure payment which would incur costs payable by you and could affect your credit rating.
