The Walbottle bungalow site is a pleasant sheltered scheme
located to the West of Newcastle. It is situated in the picturesque
village of Walbottle and is close to many amenities and regular
public transport routes. The scheme consists of 16 two-bedroom
bungalows and 17 one-bedroom bungalows.

What will my bungalow be like?
Each bungalow has its own lounge, kitchen, bathroom and
bedroom(s). There are warden call alarm pull cords in each of the
main rooms or telephone alarm systems that link each bungalow to
the CCAS Control Room in case of emergency. Your warden will show
how to operate this equipment.
How much will it cost?
The average rent for a bungalow in a sheltered scheme is about
£42 per week .The service will cost you about £11 a week. This does
not include the charge for general maintenance of the building such
as cleaning the shared areas. We include the cost of the service in
your rent. We will tell you if we change the charge and we try to
keep the cost as low as possible.
