Leagreen Court is a sheltered bungalow scheme consisting of 26 spacious 1 bedroom bungalows in a popular area of Gosforth, Newcastle upon Tyne. The scheme has a Sheltered Housing Officer onsite and is connected to the Community Care Alarm Service when the resident warden is off duty. Leagreen Court is serviced by a regular bus route and is near a metro station. It is close to other amenities such as shops, chemist and Post Office

What will my bungalow be like?

Each bungalow has its own lounge, kitchen, bathroom and bedroom(s). Doorways are wide, enabling wheelchair access. There are warden call alarm pull cords in each of the main rooms that link each bungalow to the Sheltered Housing Officer or the CCAS giving 24 hour cover in case of emergencies.

How much will it cost?

The average rent for a bungalow in a sheltered scheme is about £45 per week .The service will cost you about £11 a week. This does not include the charge for general maintenance of the building such as cleaning the shared areas. We include the cost of the service in your rent. We will tell you if we change the charge and we try to keep the cost as low as possible.
