Hadrian OfficerMeet the Sheltered Housing Officer: Melanie Ward

"Hi my name is Melanie and I have been a Sheltered Housing Officer for 4 years now. I have always enjoyed helping people and was previously a Deputy Manager in an Older Persons home before coming here - so I feel like I was able to bring lots of experience with me when I came to Hadrian House.

"I’ve enjoyed learning all about the people and the area as it is part of a very tight close-knit community and there’s a lovely group of people living here.

"If I had to describe myself I would say I am quiet, understanding and patient."

There are warden call alarm pull cords in each of the main rooms that link each flat to the Sheltered Housing Officer or CCAS giving 24 hour cover in case of emergencies. Your warden will show you how to use this equipment.
