Who can use our service?

Anyone who takes up a tenancy with Your Homes Newcastle can apply for either a part furnished or fully furnished tenancy. The furniture is leased for a weekly charge which is added to your rent.

We also supply furniture to other housing associations, voluntary organisations and local authorities throughout the North East.

Part furnished

Our part furnished tenancy allows you to choose several key items of furniture from our options menu. These items will help you sustain your tenancy without the worry of how and where you will get them.

Fully furnished

Our fully furnished tenancies are limited to areas where specific properties have been selected as fully furnished homes on a long term basis. Fully furnished properties have a set amount of furniture supplied which is suitable for the size of the property.

Points mean furniture!

Every item of furniture available on the “Options” scheme has a points value so you can choose which items suit you best.

When you have finished choosing your items you add up the points total to see which “Option” band you fit into.

This also decides how much you pay for your furniture package.

• Mini option = 60 points (£10.07)
• Option 1 = 110 points (£18.47)
• Option 2 = 160 points (£23.25)
• Option 3 = 200 points (£30.10)
• Option 4 = 240 points (£36.92)
