Child safety equipment
The child
safety equipment scheme helps to create a safer environment for
young children and cut down the number of accidents in the
home.
The equipment is available free of charge to families with
children under 5 years of age, on a low income or means tested
benefit and living in Newcastle.
Although we try whenever possible to install the equipment in
the client's preferred location we are governed by legislation,
manufacturer’s guidelines and the layout and condition of their
home.
