How do estate walkabouts make a difference?

We tell you what has happened as a result of issues raised on each walkabouEstate Walkabout logot.

Feedback is essential within the estate walkabout.  Some of the issues identified may not be the responsibility of Your Homes Newcastle but by working with other officers from the Council we can make sure that all issues are addressed and fed into the appropriate sections and departments.

All residents who take part receive a copy of the action plan along with a covering letter within two weeks of the estate walkabout.  A copy of the plan will also be sent to any Tenants' and Residents' Groups in the local area and will also be available in your local Community Housing Office.  The action plan will be referred back to at the next estate walkabout.
