Customer Service Excellence

We provide 5,800 Council tenants and leaseholders living in flats across Newcastle with a comprehensive Concierge service that takes inConcierge Control Room:

  • building cleaning 
  • reception duties
  • safety and security
  • inspections to shared areas
  • the monitoring of a citywide CCTV system that helps make our communities safer, stable places to live.

Over two thirds of our residents benefit from a 24 hour, 7 days per week service.

The aim of the service is to:

  • provide safer homes for residents
  • protect properties against loss and damage
  • maintain high standards of property care
  • maintain the demand for properties and the stability of local neighbourhoods
  • provide customers with easy access to staff
  • be a 'good neighbour' to Council tenants and leaseholders.
