Much has been heard about the asylum issue but seldom are the people who seek asylum given the opportunity to tell others about their experiences.

As part of our work to combat many of the myths around asylum we commissioned the production of a film entitled ‘True Stories’.  True stories gives Ali, Lucien, Theresa and Bursla the chance to tell their stories about life back in their home countries, their journey to the UK, their experiences in Newcastle and their hopes and dreams for the future.
