The Asylum Seekers Unit opening hours are Monday to Friday 8.30am to 4.30pm.

Emergency only contact can be made outside these times by ringing the Civic Centre on 0191 232 8520 and asking to speak to the Asylum Seeker Unit Emergency line.  If you leave a contact number one of our out of hours staff will contact you back.
