Accessibility
Welcome to our accessible and easy to use website
We are committed to make sure our website is easy to use by
everyone. We aim to make it ‘useable’ - that is to make it
easy to find information about the services and facilities you
need. It will also be ‘accessible’ for everyone - regardless
of age, experience, disability or their available technology.
About the layout of our website
All our pages look very similar - we only change the information
- or ‘content’ - of the main part of the pages. The rest
looks the same unless you follow a link to another website.
Then you will know you have left the Your Homes Newcastle site as
it will look different.
External sites
Your Homes Newcastle is not responsible for the content of
external internet sites. You should be aware that a link will
take you to an external site and that the site will open up in
another browser window.
Pdfs
All attachments (with rare exception) on this website are pdfs
(portable document format). The advantage of using pdfs is
that it will always be presented consistently.
This means that throughout our site all our attachments are
presented in the same way. Pdfs are often smaller in size so
are easy for you to down load if you want to keep a copy on your
computer.
You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to open pdf files, but this
can be downloaded free at by clicking here to go to the
adobe
website.
Text size
If you find the text on our website too large or too small you
can change the size to suit you using the size options at the top
of every page.
