‘Talk to Us’ bus takes the road to Modern Homes

We’re now taking the ‘Talk to Us’ bus around Newcastle to show tenants what they can expect from the improvement works.

It is a converted double-decker bus that contains examples of the fixtures and fittings that are being used in the YHN Modern Homes Programme. We have created displays for kitchens, bathrooms, doors, windows and fires to give you a better idea of how they might look in your home.

Our staff and constructors’ staff will be on hand to answer any questions you may have about the work, and there’s a seating area where you can watch a short film that shows how the work is likely to affect you.

We are committed to making our services available to everyone and ensure that there are no barriers when you visit the Talk to us Bus. The bus is fitted with a ramp and all of the displays are on the lower deck to make your visit as easy and safe as possible.
