Your Homes Your Jobs

unemployed YHN customer
and live in a YHN managed home to apply
for Your Homes Your Jobs vacancies.
YHN has introduced a programme called Your Homes Your Jobs and
created a number of opportunities to give our unemployed customers
paid work-based training with us for a six months period.
Each role will be full time (30 hours per week) and be paid at
£6.08 per hour .
These roles will give people who live in our homes the
opportunity to gain new skills and experience, improve their CV and
gain up to date work related references. It will also improve
their chances of securing longer-term employment, either at YHN or
elsewhere, when they have completed their six months.

Training
Our Office Admin training
course is a fantastic opportunity to take part in a five week
part time course to help improve your office administration
skills. The course will cover:
- IT training and Microsoft
applications
- What it is like to work in
an office environment
- Reception duties, and
telephone duties
Qualifications on offer are:
- NCFE Level 1 qualification in
Employability Skills
- Excel Level 1 Qualification
in IT (IT users)
- Health and Safety at Work
Awareness Certificate
Successfully completing this course
will guarantee you an interview for a 6 month paid admin job
with YHN. Applicants must be over the age of 16, living in a YHN
property and in receipt of benefits. Full training will be given to
people who are successfully appointed as well as help to find work
when the 6 months ends.
