How your involvement has made a difference - estate standards
Tenants from the Estate Standards Panel went
on a tour of North Kenton and Fawdon to look at maintenance of
green areas. The purpose of the tour was to identify where
the level of maintenance was acceptable and unacceptable.
Photographs of the areas were taken and used to produce a
photograph standard for winter which will be used to monitor the
maintenance of green areas across the city.
The areas where the green areas hadn’t been
maintained to the correct standard were highlighted with Head of
Citywide Services at Neighbourhood Services who arranged for
maintenance work to these areas. The photos on the next pages
show what these areas looked like before the work was carried out
and after.
