What is a Board meeting?

Your Homes Newcastle Board is responsible for the whole organisation and makes decisions on the management of the housing service.   The main Board meets every month and area Boards meet every two months in each of the 3 areas.

Who can come along?

Any tenant or leaseholder in Newcastle can come along to a Board meeting.  If you are not a Board member you will not be able to take part in the discussion or influence the decisions being made.  It’s a good way to find out about the decisions made by the Board and changes they are making to the way services are provided.  It is also a good way to find out how good we are at providing services.

What is involved?

We publish dates of meetings in Homes & People and in each of the Community Housing Offices.  If you would like to come along to a board meeting you need to phone us and let us know.
