Tyne and Wear Homes is a new partnership between housing organisations in the area. It means you can now apply for homes right across the region, not just in Newcastle It is a much easier way to find out about your housing options and apply for a home all in one place. Your Homes Newcastle is part of the Tyne and Wear partnership. In Newcastle, the Your Choice Homes team manages the Allocations and Lettings Policy on behalf of Newcastle City Council.  Below is a link to the Allocations and Lettings Policy:

What do you need to do?

The first thing you should do is complete a Housing Options Assessment.  This tells you what we can do to help you.  As well as housing, it will give you advice on what support is available and can even help you search for jobs or training.  You can complete this yourself on line.

If you want to find out about some of the homes we have available you can use our Property Search.  You need to be registered before you can bid.

You can make an application for social housing anytime using our on-line application form.  If you have already made an application and have a membership number you can login to your own private area to see your information, make bids or send and receive messages.  You can do this by going to Login/My Account.
