Fenham/Two Ball Lonnen estate    

This estate is mainly made up of two and three bedroom houses but there are also some one bedroom houses and two bedroom flats. They have been improved internally as part of the Modern Homes programme and are very popular.  This area is served by two tenants’ associations who are very active and organise community events and activities.

Blackett Ord estate

This estate is made up of two and three bedroom houses - most have two living rooms which make them the largest properties in Fenham. There are also two bedroom bungalows and some self contained flats in Silver Lonnen. These properties have had Modern Homes work carried out internally and are very popular.

Slatyford

YHN housing in Slatyford is mainly two and three bedroom houses, self-contained flats and one bedroom older person’s bungalows. There is also sheltered accommodation at Coniston Court. The flats are mainly bedsits and have warden supervision.  The houses and self-contained flats are very popular and many have been bought under the Right To Buy scheme.

In addition, there are two bedroom flats in three storey blocks and some three and four bedroom maisonettes with one bedroom flats beneath.  The three story blocks are getting refurbished externally and internally in 2010/2011 and are greatly improved. Some of the area is covered by the Slatyford Tenants' and Residents' Association who meet on a monthly basis.
