About us
The Byker Housing Office manages approximately 1750 properties
on behalf of the Byker Community Trust, within the Byker ward of
Newcastle.
On 2 July 2012 the ownership of the land and other
buildings on the Byker estate were transferred from Newcastle City
Council to the Byker Community Trust. The properties within the
area are Grade 2 listed and range from two, three and four bedroom
houses and maisonettes to high and low rise flats and some
bungalows.
