How to become a Board Member

The Main Board is made up of six council nominees who are appointed by Newcastle City Council ; six tenant members, two from each of the three areas of the City, elected by other tenants on an area basis; six independent people who are chosen by a panel of board members; and a Chair.

Tenant and independent members stand down in rotation each year at the Annual General Meeting and vacancies are advertised locally.
