Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour event

Have you ever felt powerless to do anything about graffitti, vandalism or noisy neighbours?

Do you want to know more about who you can contact to deal with problems like these and the powers you have available to you?

You are invited to attend a Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour event, offering practical advice on what can be done and how everyone can work together to tackle neighbourhood anti-social behaviour issues. It’s being organised by the Department of Communities & Local Govt (DCLG) and aims to raise communities understanding of how to access support in tackling anti-social behaviour.

Date: Monday 15 March
Time: 9:15am - 2:15pm
Venue: St James' Park, Moncur Suite

The target audience for the event includes:

  • Tenants and residents
  • Local community activists who have previously been involved in addressing anti social behaviour issues in their local community
  • Local authority officers (community safety, youth engagement, mental health)
  • Voluntary sector organisations
  • Housing practitioners
  • Police and wider Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership representatives
  • Councillors and MPs may also be present.

For details of how to register for the event visit www.asb-events.org or call the hotline number 0845 680 9754 (local rate: open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday). The event is free of charge to attend and includes lunch.
