12/11/2008 Your Homes Newcastle is to open a new housing office in the west end of the city.

YHN, which is the only housing organisation of its type in the North East to be rated excellent by the Audit Commission, will open its Benwell and Scotswood Community Housing Office within the West End Customer Service Centre on Condercum Road on November 17.

The new building will incorporate services offered by the old North Benwell Housing Office and Scotswood Housing Offices which closed on Friday 7 November.

Tenants who need information on anything from rent payments to repairs during the ten days until the new office opens should call 0191 277 1484.  Payments can be made at the Civic Centre and at the Outer West, Gosforth, Kenton and East End Customer Service Centres.
