Get your garden ready for Spring!

When? Wednesday 17 March at 10am to 12.30pm

Where? YHN House, Benton Park Road, Newcastle upon Tyne

What? The training will be provided by Your Homes Newcastle's Garden Care Team.  The course will cover:

• Pruning – what to prune in the Spring
• Propagation – including splitting perennials, layer shrubs and climbers, growing seeds
• Planting – trees, shrubs and bedding
• Pests and diseases – how to remove them
• Weed control – chemical, biological, cultural and organic
• Grow your own vegetables – seasonal jobs in the vegetable garden.

Refreshments will be provided and you will receive £10 expenses towards your travel.  At the end of the course you will also get a certificate.

Training courses are popular so places are given on a first come first served basis.
