Research at YHN
YHN's Business Strategy team is responsible for co-ordinating
and delivering research and analysis. This work is carried out by
Business Strategy’s Research Team. The Research Team carries
out customer satisfaction surveys, opinion and perception surveys,
research to find out about current and potential business areas,
and ‘desk top’ research.
They do research by:
- developing and delivering Your Homes Newcastle’s annual
research programme,
- data entry and analysing questionnaires and surveys
- developing and monitoring action plans using our analysis
- reporting results and issues to service managers
- feeding back results and outcomes to all stakeholders.
They also provide support and advice to all YHN services on
research methods and delivery. This is to make sure that all
questionnaires and surveys are delivered in a consistent way and
that the methods we use are fair and unbiased.
The team
Our team are skilled researchers with extensive knowledge
of how policy is made and the issues involved in delivering
services. They work closely with their colleagues in Customer
Involvement and Customer Service to make sure that we fully
understand the issues that are most important to our
customers. This means we can support business development and
service provision across the organisation and assist service
managers and staff to identify ways to improve the services we
provide to our customers.
